New in the AppStore. The developer of PCalc has split out the ‘About’ page of its notorious app. The information screen is a very unusual one being a 3D gaming playground for the developer himself, rather than a simple collection of strings. Now you can play with 3D objects and more in this free separate app. An interesting move for both casual players and anyone who’s getting started in iOS game development.

New software by Apple. Last but not least in the iOS ecosystem, Apple has released the first beta of iOS/iPadOS/tvOS 15.5, watchOS 8.6 and macOS 12.4 to developers.

Tool of the week

The tool of this week is Away for Twitter, ‘the first ever Twitter client to support you in using Twitter less’.
